Michelle Gonzalez
DPT, PT
Meet Michelle Gonzalez, PT, DPT Born and raised in Miami, Michelle Gonzalez, PT, DPT, believes movement is one of the best forms of medicine—and fortunately for her patients, it's also one of her favorite things in the world. Michelle earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Miami, but her passion for helping others began much earlier. During the COVID-19 pandemic, her father underwent surgery and came home sooner than expected. Determined to help him regain his strength and independence, she immersed herself in rehabilitation and discovered what would become her calling. Before physical therapy, Michelle actually planned on pursuing a career in art law. But after realizing she'd much rather spend her days talking about movement, strength, and helping people feel their best, she traded museums for the clinic—and she's never looked back. Michelle especially enjoys working with orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, oncology, and other complex patients. Her approach is centered around education and empowerment because she believes patients should understand why they're doing something—not just be told to do it. Her goal is to help people become as independent and confident as possible while guiding them every step of the way. One of her favorite parts of being a physical therapist is having the privilege of watching patients progress over time and celebrating the victories—big and small—along the way. Outside the clinic, you'll probably find Michelle lifting weights, reading a good book, or convincing herself she'll finally get back into painting someday. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutritionist, combining her love of strength and wellness to help patients live healthier, stronger lives. As a lifelong Miamian, Michelle is excited to serve the community she proudly calls home—and promises not to judge your squat form… unless you ask. 😉

Diogo Trevisan, PT
PT, DPT
Meet Dr. Diogo Trevisan, DPT Doctor of Physical Therapy | Co-Owner, Physical Therapy Now Sunset/East Kendall Dr. Diogo Trevisan brings over 15 years of experience and a deeply personal approach to physical therapy in the Sunset and East Kendall community. Born and raised in Brazil, Diogo's passion for movement and healing led him to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy across two countries completing his training in Brazil and later at Utica College in New York before dedicating himself to building a practice in Miami centered on genuine, whole person care. At Physical Therapy Now, Dr. Trevisan specializes in orthopedic physical therapy, helping patients recover from pain, injury, and movement limitations through a comprehensive blend of manual therapy, dry needling, and cupping. But what truly sets Diogo apart is his philosophy: he doesn't just treat where it hurts he looks at the whole body to identify and address the root cause of pain, so patients heal fully and stay that way. From the moment you call the clinic to the day you graduate from therapy, every step of your experience is intentional. At Physical Therapy Now Sunset, you'll be heard, respected, and cared for in a warm, family oriented environment where your goals become our goals. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply ready to move and feel better, Dr. Trevisan and his team are here to guide you every step of the way. 📍 Serving the Sunset and East Kendall areas of Miami, FL 🔑 Orthopedic Physical Therapy | Manual Therapy | Dry Needling | Cupping
Pablo Rodriguez
PTA
Meet Pablo Rodriguez, PTA Physical Therapist Assistant | Physical Therapy Now – Sunset/East Kendall There's a moment every patient has with Pablo usually somewhere between their second and third session where they realize two things at once: this man genuinely cares about them, and he is absolutely not letting them slack off. Born in Cuba and now proudly part of the Miami community, Pablo Rodriguez brings heart, hustle, and a whole lot of warmth to his role as Physical Therapist Assistant at Physical Therapy Now. With 3 to 5 years of experience by Dr. Trevisan's side, Pablo has become the kind of clinician patients lean on the one who remembers what you said last week, checks in on how you're really doing, and then hands you a resistance band and tells you to get to work. Think of him as the big brother you never knew you needed. He'll show up for you, root for you, and hold you accountable because he knows that real results only come when patients show up fully for themselves too. Pablo takes the plan of care seriously, and he makes sure you do too. When he's not in the clinic, you'll find Pablo doing what he loves most spending quality time with his son. And if you ever catch him in a quiet moment, there's a good chance he's thinking about Salvador Dalí, his favorite artist and a reminder that the most meaningful things in life don't always follow a straight line. At Physical Therapy Now, Pablo isn't just part of the team he's part of what makes this place feel like family.

Stephanie Trevisan , MHSc, CAA
Co-Owner and Office Manager
Stephanie is the Co-Owner and Office Manager at Physical Therapy Now Sunset which is the official way of saying she helps keep the clinic, the team, and occasionally her husband, Dr. Diogo, running smoothly. While you won’t find Stephanie performing manual therapy or prescribing exercises, she’s very much behind the patient experience. From making sure the right people are in the right places to solving the little problems patients may never even know happened, her goal is simple: make sure every person who walks through the door feels welcomed, cared for, and genuinely important. As Co-Owner, Stephanie also works behind the scenes to keep the practice growing and improving, always asking, “How can we make this better for our patients?” (And sometimes, “Why is nobody answering the phone?”) Outside of the clinic, Stephanie is a wife, mom of two boys, and firm believer that life and physical therapy is a whole lot better when you don’t take yourself too seriously. Her favorite part of what she does? Watching someone come into the clinic in pain, frustrated or worried, and eventually walk out stronger, happier, and feeling like themselves again

Eric Smith Jr.
Physical Therapy Tech
Eric has been part of the Physical Therapy Now Sunset family for a year and a half, and you’ll likely see him throughout your recovery journey — helping you from those first few visits all the way to the day you’re ready to get back to doing what you love. And Eric actually knows what it’s like to be on the other side of the treatment table. His passion for physical therapy began when he was the patient, receiving PT for his ankles so he could get back to playing soccer. That experience sparked his interest in the profession and ultimately inspired his goal of earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. As your Physical Therapy Tech, Eric is there to help you through your exercises, keep you moving, encourage you on the tougher days, and celebrate your progress right alongside you. And when you’re convinced you absolutely cannot do another rep… Eric may respectfully disagree. One of the things Eric loves most about the clinic is how close the team has become. He considers them his second family, and he hopes that when you’re here, you feel like you’re part of that family too. Outside the clinic, you’ll most likely find Eric playing soccer or at the gym — apparently, spending all day around exercise still isn’t enough for him.

Jackie Mendoza
Patient Care Coordinator
Jackie has been part of the Physical Therapy Now Sunset family for two years, and if you’ve called us, walked through our doors, or needed help figuring something out, chances are Jackie has been there to help you. As one of the first people you’ll meet at our clinic, Jackie is here to make your experience as easy and welcoming as possible whether she’s helping you with your appointments, answering your questions, or simply making sure you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. And after two years here, she’ll be the first to tell you: this isn’t just her workplace. It’s her second home. One of Jackie’s favorite parts of her job is getting to watch your progress from the front row. She loves seeing the difference between the day you first walk in and the day you realize you’re stronger, in less pain, more confident, and getting back to the life you love. She’s a firm believer that no matter your age, you can always work toward becoming a stronger, more active version of yourself. She also loves the family environment of the clinic. Being surrounded by a team that supports one another, laughs together, and genuinely enjoys being together is a big part of why she loves coming to work and she hopes you feel that same warmth when you’re here. Outside the clinic, Jackie loves spending time with family and friends and has recently discovered a passion for baking. She’s currently perfecting her desserts with hopes of one day turning that hobby into a small business so we’re all patiently waiting to volunteer as taste testers. And if there’s music playing, don’t expect Jackie to sit still for long. She loves to dance, especially traditional Mexican styles like huapango huasteco and norteñas. At family gatherings and parties, you can pretty much count on her being one of the first people on the dance floor. So whether you need help with your schedule, have a question, or just need a friendly face when you walk in, Jackie is here to make sure you feel right at home.
