Diogo Trevisan, DPT
Diogo earned his physical therapy degree from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba in Piracicaba, Brazil. The leading university for physical therapy in Piracicaba. He completed his doctorate program at Utica University. With over 10 years of experience in physical therapy, Diogo is extremely passionate about orthopedics and sports medicine, so much so that he reads orthopedics books during his leisure time. He is also passionate about incorporating both a mind and body healing during rehabilitation. He is currently in school to obtain his second doctorate degree in Chinese Medicine. Diogo, along with his with wife, Stephanie, is also the owner of Physical Therapy Now Sunset, creating a family like environment in the clinic. On his days off Diogo is either spending time with his two boys or in Jiu Jitsu, another one of his passions.
Monica Garcia, PTA
Have you ever met someone that just gave you a warm fuzzy feeling? That is exactly how you’ll feel when you meet Monica. Not only does she provide a nurturing environment for her patients she is also excellent in manual therapy. Monica graduated from university and has been a PTA for 6 years. She is passionate in helping her patients get back to everyday activities pain free. Fun fact about Monica, she was a professional dancer before gong to PTA school.
Stephanie Trevisan – Office Coordinator
Stephanie is the office coordinator at Physical Therapy Now Sunset and handles all the clerical, insurance and logisitics for the clinic. She is an FIU alumni and an NSU alumni. Stephanie is a former Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant and currently an entrepreneur, owning a variety of businesses including Physical Therapy Now Sunset alongside her husband Diogo. Coming from a service industry, Stephanie is passionate about creating a family like environment and helping our patients feel at home when receiving therapy. On her days off Stephanie is either spending time with her family or indulging in self care.
Pablo Rodriguez, PTA
Pablo is the newest member to our family and he brings a very special energy to the clinic. He will help YOU feel like you’re part of our family. Pablo was a PTA in Cuba and worked at Massage Envy for a short while when he came to Miami. Because of this your experience with him will be spa like and not painful at all *wink, wink*. Fun fact, Pablo has a 1 year old son, so he has absolutely no time for any hobbies or time for himself.
Sarieska (Sary) Parra – Front Desk
As the first person you will encounter in our clinic, the minute you meet Sary you’ll swear you’re talking to your best friend. Sary handles the patient experience from beginning to end. She’s so amazing at building relationships with our patients that she can even finish their sentences and anticipate their questions. Sary is an avid traveler and one the kindest people you’ll meet. On her days off she enjoys spending time with her family.
Junior – Technician
Junior is the youngest member of our team but is wise beyond his years. His laugh is contagious and he’s always having fun. He is the one that sets our patients up for their therapy and oversees patient exercise to make sure they’re being done correctly so our patients get the most out of their session. Junior is currently in school studying to be a Doctor of Physical Therapy. On his days off he likes to go and cheer on the Heat.
